I have continued experimenting with the technique of sandblasting glass, with the aim of making a product for daily use. My idea was to merge the design of a utility product with the design and symbolism of the Christian cross. I worked with developing this concept, changing the proportions of one line of the cross. It now looks like the letter T. The Christian cross is shown in many shapes, colours, styles (for example in the Middle ages was one of the most used symbols in the world. The cross is the strongest symbol from time immemorial. It has got a lot of application and significance. It can found in mathematics, the alphabet, geography (symbol for the highest place in maps), as a symbol of death, heraldry, on flags (Switzerland, Finland...).

Finally I looked at the colour of the table set; rejecting the classic black colour traditionally associated with the cross and explored other colours. The symbolism of the cross still stays in its shape. Its grey colour reminds us of the theme of departure but can help us to hide impurities. The transition from white to grey helps give the shape a clean look. The size of the design is very versatile. You can apply the design as a dominant format or as a small detail. The design of the bowl is linked with the shape of the vase. The bowl design combines some of the symbolism from the urn but also is a practical product for modern life.
